HIIT workout on a Garmin Venu or Vivoactive 4s

Hi! Is there a simple way to add a HIIT workout if you have different combinations of workout, rest periods, so that it is not a perfect circuit that is repeating? ie sometimes I will follow a workout that is 40 seconds on, 20 seconds off, other times it is 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off, and so it is not exactly consistent. I am wondering if there is a simpler way to add a custom workout of HIIT to your activities rather than programming in a play by play of each exercise?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated, thank you!

  • Hey , I wonder if it's possible to either disable or at least warn people in Garmin Connect that certain activities or trainings aren't compatible with the device? E.g. the other day I tried to create Custom training, and spent a good amount of time just to find out in the end that I can't send this training to any of my devices. That was very disappointing, I'd gray out HIIT in Garmin Connect or at least warn people that it's not compatible with the devices they have, that would be save a lot of nerves to your customers.
