Seconds on watchface

Ever since the software updated to 5.8, my watch face doesn't update seconds unless i tap the screen. Then it updates second until it reaches 00 and stops there. The developer made no changes, so it must be software update. It's really important to me to have simple watch face with time inc second, date and battery. The one i have worked great for almost a year until 2 days ago. Any solutions?

I have a very simple standard Garmin customized watchface that came with the watch. It shows time, date, battery and seconds, and no more. It works perfectly with firmware 5.8.

But there never was a problem with showing seconds on the preinstalled watchfaces, even on 5.60 . The problem was with downloaded CIQ watchfaces. And it still is, even though the seconds work fine for me now on gesture, the watchfaces are still laggy when swiping to and from them, when receiving notifications etc.

I have the same issue. Actually had not noticed it until I read your post. Obviously a bug in 5.8

I think this bug is related to particular watchface(s), because I'm using Alpha and it shows seconds just like it did before. They are updating without my interaction. You can actually try this watchface yourself, even free version is quite nice.

It's actually started working again for me.

I am using Simple TBD I contacted the developer and they fixed it with an update. Anyone having the issue I suggest the contact the developer.

that's good to know! what about the battery drain does it increased with the fix to seconds?

I did not notice one way or the other. I get lousy batter life. I record lots of activities and only get 2-3 days out of charge.

ah, I see, myself I can get rather bad life even idling sometimes :) Thanks for the response!
