vivoactive 4 gps loses distance every lap on track?

My vivoactive 4 does not accurately track my distance when running on a track. I lose about 30 feet every lap. Is there anyway to correct this? I have tried all the gps settings and it still loses distance every lap. I have tried running and walking activity to see if there was a difference but it does the same. Could it be the watch? Any fix for this? Very happy with watch except this.

  • That is expected. Due to filtering when computing position, the track will cut corners. This happens to most GPS based equipment. Make sure you use the setting for logging position every second.

There are IQ data fields where you can manually synchronize the laps by pressing a button to correct the distance to nearest 400m or kilometer.
