Using Galileo for Golf?

There does not seem to be a setting for the location services for Golf. When I bike, I am able to use a variety of GPS, Glonass, and Galileo. As I understand, Galileo is expected to be more accurate than GPS and should make for more accurate golf distances. Is there a setting I am missing?

    Hey there! We currently do not offer this setting in the Golf activity profile. We do have a feature request on this though and I can add you to it as impact.

    I also just bought a Garmin watch. One of the main features I was looking for is the golf app. Must say I'm a little disappointed there's no Galileo support whereas any other sports app offer the 3 technologies (GPS, Galileo, Glonass). If the hardware supports it, it shouldn't be too difficult to offer it in the software. Let's hope the feature request will be developed soon. Thanks

    Hi Isabella ! Thanks for adding me. Highly appreciated. You mention in one of your previous message the feature request was already open. Since when is this feature request open ? Is there really any kind of hope this feature will be added ?

    Hello! This request was recently opened up for the Venu 2 specifically. I apologize there is not any information we have regarding any update right now. I can not promise any changes will be made but we do hear you and appreciate your feedback.
