the airpods connect, spotify plays but stops after 15 seconds or so
Hello! Do the airpods become disconnected and then the music stops playing or does Spotify stop itself? Does this happen every time you use both of these?
The garmin seems to kick the headphones off bluetooth. I just tried with a pair of samsung buds and the same thing happened. Also the same thing happens with both pairs with amazon music.

Are these headphones also paired with your phone? If so, can I have you remove them from your bluetooth list and then retry with the watch? If this does not help, would you be able to post a short video of this happening?
I ended up calling tech support. All the things I had tried prompted them to replace the watch. Hopefully the new one will work when it arrives. thanks for the help
