Vivoactive 4 reboot loop

Today I completed an activity and the A & B buttons were unresponsive when I tried to end the activity. I Pressed, and held, button A and the watch powered off. Not when I power the watch on it just constantly reboots.

    Hello! If you press and hold the A button to turn off the device, let it sit off for over a minute, does it do the same thing when turned on? If you plug it into a computer, do you also see the same thing?

  • I powered the watch off for 5 minutes, powered it back on but it still constantly reboots. I then plugged it in to the computers usb port with exactly the same fault.

    Okay, can I have you try a reset on the device? The first thing it should ask when it comes back on is which language to select. 

    • Start with the device off
    • Press and hold the top right button
    • After 2 seconds, also press and hold the bottom right key
    • Wait for the device to vibrate
    • Release the top right key
    • Wait for the device to vibrate
    • Release the bottom right key
  • Many thanks for the suggestions. I tried the procedure several times but unfortunately nothing has changed. I have contacted Amazon and they tell me that the watch is still within warranty. ( I thought it was 12 months but they advise me it is 24 months) They are sending me a replacement for delivery tomorrow.
