Vivoactive 4, activities are stopped, keeps restarting

For 3 weeks I was really happy with my vivoactive 4 - it tracked my favorite activities (running, cardio, strength/weight training) quiete well.

Since one week I am not able to track a single activity: A few seconds or minutes after starting the activity the watch stops the activity no matter if its running, cardio or strength training. Sometimes it crashes and keeps restarting several times, sometimes I see the screen if I want to save the activity.

It cannot be an autopause bug, as I deactivated this feature. I already tried soft and hard reset with no result.

I noticed, that the HR-Sensor does not work for longer periords (several hours) - maybe it is somehow connected.

Thanks a lot for your help! A sport watch without sport tracking is not what I want :-)...

Sounds like a over sensitive start/stop button.

Thanks ovekvam! I'm not sure about that. The activities are being stopped even if I don't move my wrist at all. And the start/stop button alone wouldn't explain the HR-Sensor not working for long periods (eg. during the night).

Hello! Does it do this every time you start an activity? Would you be able to record a video of this happening as a test activity and post it here?

Thanks Isabella. As Garmin yesterday offered to change the device, we probably won't solve it here.
