Do Not Disturb exceptions

HI there! Our devices do have a do not disturb setting it just can not not be customized. You can use do not disturb mode to turn off notifications, gestures, and alerts. For example, you can use this mode while sleeping or watching a movie.

NOTE: In your Garmin Connect account, you can set the device to automatically enter do not disturb mode during your normal sleep hours. You can set your normal sleep hours in the user settings on your Garmin Connect account (User Settings).

Thanks. Is there any plan for customisation to be added to the DND functionality? This would be extremely useful both for urgent family communications, as well as for anyone who has to be on call overnight in case of emergencies.

I fully support the OPs ideas here and I'm fairly surprised at the lack of customisation available for DND. It also does not respect the do not disturb setting on my phone, making it completely redundant. My Fitbit used to do this fine. Please consider adding this functionality as it severely impacts my usage of the device during work hours.

I agree with the OP's comment and 1681292's comment as well. At the very least we need support for Garmin to respect my phone's DND mode. My Samsung watch was able to do that seemlessely. And the lack of this support just seems to be aggravating other android users over on reddit as well.

Any update on this? Overrides like this are pretty commonplace now. In the past this might have been considered a delighter, but it's a lot closer to a must-have now.

A year after Garmin-Amber "passed this on to her team" we see nothing, and most likely never will.
