Ski touring

Hello developers!

I often ski touring with my Vivoactive 4S watch and it's a shame not to have an adequate profile for this activity.

Could you please create this profile as it already exists for other Garmin outdoor watches.

    Hello! Have you tried any of the Connect IQ ski touring apps? I can definitely create a feature request for you on this. There is no guarantee that this change will be made, but we do appreciate your feedback!

    There is a built-in cross country ski activity that I use. Isn't it similar?

    I did not find this built-in cross country ski activity for my Vivoactive 4S watch ! Could you please explain how to find it ?

    In my VA4S, it is called XC Ski.

    Ski touring and xc ski are not the same. Si touring, also called alpine touring, is closer to downhill skiing where you actually ski both uphill (adding skins to the skis) and downhill rather than using a ski lift.  It gains in popularity. On the fenix watch the activity for this is called "Backcountry Skiing" and it tracks separately both ascents and descents. Having that activity (app) ported to the Venu2S would cover that need. The other Ski and XC Ski profiles do not properly work for ski touring.
