Battery problem after update senzor hub 8.02

Hi, after senzor hub update I have huge battery drain - 50% during 24 hours.

I have everything on as before update (especially SpOx2), same watchface (built-in from Garmin), same system settings. But battery drain is 20% bigger then before (with my settings I had 30% per 24 hours). Is it bug?

After update I restarted watch, synced with Garmin Express and recharged battery to 100%.

I found the reason myself. After sensor hub update my VA4 permanently searched for paired cadence sensor. Sensor is off and out of range of watch. I have switched off sensor in watch settings, recharged…

I found the reason myself. After sensor hub update my VA4 permanently searched for paired cadence sensor. Sensor is off and out of range of watch. I have switched off sensor in watch settings, recharged battery to 100% and after 20 hours I have 72% of battery, which is normal with my clock settings.

I’m seeing the same thing. I’ll try disabling the sensors I don’t often use and see if that helps.

Is this something new? Wasn't the watch searching for sensors before the upgrade? I see mine always searches for my heart rate sensor, but I was thinking that was normal.

Yes, it's new. My watch always searched with FW 5.10 After update to 5.60 it settled and didn't always search. After sensor hub update, this behavior is back. And can confirm that switch off sensor in watch settings helped and battery discharge is back in normal.

But then you always have to enable the sensors manually when you start an activity?

I'm not sure. It's winter, I'm not cycling. But probably yes, I have to switch them on manually.
