Has anyone used a 22mm quickfit band on their vivoactive 4?

Hey!

I've just picked up a Vivoactive 4 (goodbye fitbit) but I prefer the style of the quickfit bands over the quickrelease. Am I right in thinking that I could add standard spring bars onto the Vivoactive, and it would fit any 22mm quickfit band? Has anyone managed to do this?

I bought 2 different 22mm bands on Amazon, they both work fine. (Although once I saw them on the watch I did not like either). I am not clear on what quickfit means, when I googled that I found bands that look just like the factory band?

Aye, so the vivoactive/venu all use "quickfit" bands as standard. But Garmins' other products like the forerunner and fenix series use "quickrelease". The quickrelease bands don't have a integrated bar to connect to the watch as those watches have one pre-fitted. I'm hoping that fitting a standard spring bar will allow the use of the quickrelease bands

Ahh OK. Well the 2 bands I got on Amazon both have the integrated bar, just like the one that came with the watch.
