Watch-face: too small metrics - and always on

Got some more questions: I'm looking for a watch face that displays steps and hr larger. Is this possible? I feel rather old, but I simply can't read it on the 4s.

Btw, is it possible to switch off the screen totally and only on temporarily upon tapping on the screen or pressing a button?

1. You would have to download such a watchface from Connect IQ store, there are loads of them, so there is a high chance you will be succesful.

2. No, the screen cannot be turned of anyhow, the only way is to turn off the watch completely.

Thanks a lot. Good to know. I'll have to dig for a suitable watchface then. The watch always on.. oh well.. you can't have everything, right?

That is one of the things that sets Garmin apart from many other brands. They have a technology that allows the display be on all the time without draining the battery much. The backlight can be controlled like you say, and only be enabled on demand.
