From 5.10 to 5.60 change log???

So I posted this in the Venu (which I have) forum but since this one is busier, I thought of putting it here as well.

So this is the 5.10 to 5.60 change log:

  • Fixed some scenarios where battery drain can occur on Connect IQ watch faces
  • Added improvements to all day stress
  • Fixed issue with headphones disconnecting upon starting an activity
  • Fixed an issue that caused devices to reset on power up
  • Removed lower limit on weight picker
  • Fixed swim heart rate zones
  • Reduced minimum sensor wheel size
  • Fixed excessive floors climbed upon barometer calibration
  • Improved handling of missing card image for Garmin Pay

And this is the 5.10 to 5.30 change log that was pulled

  • Added details page to last sport widgets
  • Added improvements for faster syncs with Garmin Connect Mobile
  • Improved shortcut setup and interaction with the page
  • Fixed potential auto activity start false positives
  • Fixed issues with double swipes from the watch face
  • Removed golf course list timeout when starting golf activity
  • Fixed layout of the 'No Notifications' page
  • Added support for calibrating elevation from Garmin Connect Mobile
  • Updated stopwatch layout
  • Improved time to first GPS fix in certain conditions
  • Made general bug fixes for golf activities
  • Fixed body battery graph layout
  • Increased precision of weight in strength activities
  • Enabled app encryption for widgets and data fields
  • Improved translations
  • Fixed smart notification timeouts

What's going on with all the features missing. Hopefully it's a typo and the 5.60 is actually FROM 5.30 and NOT FROM 5.10!

  • Hello! We had found an issue with 5.30 shortly after it was released. This issue only affected a small number of users, because of this we wanted to further investigate. The 5.60 includes the changes from 5.10 to 5.30 and 5.30 to 5.60.

  • It is a shame that the aerob and anaerob effect is not added with the update! This could be very easily added and I am sure many would appreciate it. Hopefully they add this feature in the next Update!

  • They will never do that. Why would customers buy their high end watches if the cheaper VA4 can do almost the same? I am an engineer doing triathlon, and I didn't get the Fenix or the Forerunner. Maybe the VA4 already can do too much? :-)

  • I should not keep my hopes high then! Still leaving out this feature will not make me buy another Garmin watch! Adding this feature however, would likely lead me to buy another Garmin product. I was thinking of buying a heart rate monitor, but since the aerob and anaerob effect is missing i don't see the point. So from a business point of view it isn't necessarily the best choice. At least not If there are people out there thinking like İ do :)

  • You Buy a 200$ Watch and are not Happy with because Garmin wont ADD Features from their 600$ Watch... Thats a little bit cringe bro

  • Absolutely no need to have a "high end watch" like the fenix to get training effect , as the forerunner 245 has training effect and physical condition for the same price as the VA4.....

It is only a question of marketing between VA4 and Forerunner 245.....

  • If you don't mind not seeing it on the VA4 and on a website other than Connect, tie your Garmin account to Runalyze. You'll get more than just Training Effect for every new cardio activity you'll do. My runs, cycling and cross country skiing shows up.

  • how do you get your data there?

  • From the Runalyze web site, once you've created an account and logged in, click on the '+' sign on the upper right corner then on 'Activity Sync'. From there, you can link to many systems, including Garmin Connect. I noticed that your last month will be imported as well so you don't actually start from fresh.

  • Created an account. Wow. There is a lot of data here! Thanks for the tip!
