TCX import to Garmin Connect does not show in History on VA4 watch

I have a Kaiser M3i spin bike. Rather than relying on the limited information that you can record using the VA4 watch's "Bike Indoor" app, I record the ride using the Kaiser app, export the tcx file from the app, and then import it into Garmin Connect. This works well and I can now see distance, speed, power etc. in Garmin Connect. However, when I look at the Activity History on my watch, the ride does not show up. Is it possible to display the ride in the watch's History?

I guess you would have to convert the TCX file to a Garmin FIT file, and download the file to the watch, then.

Thanks. Probably not worth the additional inconvenience for a relatively minor issue.
