Garmin vivoactive 4 incorrect steps and calories

Just moved over from Fitbit and purchased the Vivoactive 4. I've had the device for 2 weeks now and noticed that my overall calories burnt and steps are much lower compared to my Fitbit. For instance, when I had my Fitbit I would do a 45 min HITT and walk for an hour and a half and would easily burn 3,500 calories and 10k steps. Using my Garmin with the same routine I'm lucky to reach 3,000 calories and 7,000 steps. Even wore both devices to test this and they are way off. Granted, they are different devices but the margin between them both is way off.

Does anyone have any recommendations please as this is bugging me!
