Option to Choose not to update firmware?

Folks, have you found a way to choose not to update to the latest firmware update? On my Garmin 945, there is an option to NOT auto update the firmware, so one can wait and device if they want to update or not.

I can't see anything similar on the watch or Garmin connect setting to not auto update to latest firmware? When a newer firmware is detected, it's auto downloaded and the watch only asks if you want to install now or auto install at midnight. Please advise if you found a way around this!

The only thing that works for me is to attach the watch to my computer and delete the update file. Then repeat every week or so when the update reappears.

HI there! There is not a way around this. Updates are an integral part of resolving known bugs and to maintain compatibility with things like GPS and phones. Auto updates are used in an effort to make these updates as unobtrusive as possible.
