Difference in distance on garmin vs app

I went for a walk and my garmin showed the distance to be 3.6km. When I sync my garmin to my phone, the walk shows up as being 5.8km in the app. What do I do wrong?

Hello! Are you able attach a screenshot of your Garmin Connect App where it shows the 5.8km distance for that specific activity?
