Waiting for over 10 minutes for GPS

I have tried and checked multiple “solutions” opted in these forums, such as updating the software, starting an activity in an open field, setting the CPE to current, etcetera. But nothing seems to work for me. I have been walking around for at least 15 minutes now and I’m unable to get a working gps signal.

    This issue was resolved with a previous software update.  If you are still experiencing this issue while your watch is running the main firmware version of 6.50, please check the watch's GPS version.  If the GPS software shows 0.00, please start a new thread, as we do have other reports of this and I can add you to that case.

    If your watch shows a GPS software version of 5.40 and you are experiencing this issue, please reach out to your local Garmin Product Support team.  To do this, type "support.garmin.com" in your address bar and use the Garmin Support Center to research your issue.  Once you get far enough in the search, you will see some contact options, which may include Call, Chat, and Email.

    If your watch shows a different GPS software other than 5.40, please update your watch with Garmin Express.
