Vivoactive 4 not charging, bad connection with lead

This is very annoying. Only the 4th or 5th charge and the connection between lead (genuine Garmin) and watch is already very temperamental. Had a lot of this with the Vivoactive 3 and had to keep buying new leads.

Checked lead and watch terminals are clean.

Bad design in my opinion.

Hello, Are you charging you through a wall or computer? Do you by chance have an additional cable?

I’m using a wall charger. I have got some spares which I used for the old vivoactive 3. Strangely the non-garmin leads seem to last longer.

I've been having this same issue and my watch is also very new. It's hard because the other cables can't do transfer with Garmin connect so I have to fiddle with the cord to get it to be seen by the computer.
