Is my Device Broken?

The device is not respecting my settings for the Spo2.  I have it set for All-day Pulse Ox.  The device does not read during the day at all.  I turned it off for sleep tracking as I sleep on my arm and the numbers cannot be accurate.  Even with the All Day turned on and the Sleep tacking turned off, the device only reads while in sleep mode.

I attempted to complete a manual reading this morning but I either don't understand how it is done or it doesn't work.  I followed the instructions in the manual regarding pulling up the widget (watch face) but it does nothing, then returns to main face after a few seconds.  Tapping or using the side buttons does not activate the feature.  When I check the reports on the web, it says there is a reading but it is actually only the last (sleep) reading being carried forward.

I am getting no battery recharge, which may be related to the SpO2 readings not being properly represented during sleep.  I don't know, the device says I am stressed all the time, even in sleep so maybe something went wrong with this device's technology or maybe I need a vacation.  Regardless, if I cannot resolve this issue soon enough, I will return the device as I already have a broken Polar Ignite, I do not need to devices that do not perform well.

To get a clear reading you need to be perfectly still for a minute or so, and the sensor has to be pressed tightly against your wrist.

Most likely the watch attempts reading during daytime, but see my explanation above.

Nope.  If I leave the device open and be still, the watch returns to the main watch face...doesn't read, doesn't attempt to read.  I have had it work a couple times second day I owned it, but no clue what made it start, it just started when I was looking at the watch face.  Now, it does nothing and it ignored my setting to not trace SpO2 while sleeping.
