How can I get my 4S to connect to the power meter in my bicycle trainer?

My bicycle trainer provides a speed and power sensor.   I have been able to connect the speed sensor, but do not see a way to connect the power sensor.  Is this possible, and if so how?  When I select add new sensor, it lists categories of sensors, but nothing about power.

  • You can't.  At least not natively.  The Vivoactive doesn't support power meters.

There are IQ apps that are supposed to provide power meter support.

  • Expandng on fallingrock,

Suspect that if any garmin watch does not support it. there is no datafield to populate.   Thus even if the app will calculated watts/power, there is no place to go  Example. I have cadence monitor on my crank and a Vivioactive 4.   In Garmin Connect. the Garmin's indoor bike app will give me detailed graphs/data over time for RPM and HR.  The recently added 3rd party Spin Tracker-Pro will give me those details, plus speed/.distance, but not Power/Watts.  I don't think it is hidden data because an export to Golden Cheetah does not show it.  Disappointed
