Vivoactive 4S SPo2 Sleep Reading

Hi all,

So I just recently got the Vivoactive 4S and have been using the sleep tracking and SPo2 reading through the night.

I have been reading that most people find it inaccurate but I was diagnosed with sinusitis a while ago and have been using a steroidal nasal spray but find it doesn't make a huge difference. Just wondering if that would likely be the cause of the big variations in the SPo2 level or if the readings look more like it could be sleep apnea? I have little experience with these sleep readings and do not find I wake at all really in the night and my sleep shows I don't wake much at all too but the variations on some nights seem significant so just wondered if this would be considered normal or not?

Thanks everyone.

Just my opinion:  I have breaks in my SpO2 as well.  It also goes way down below what is deemed normal.  I sleep on my arm; doing this will cause periods of low SpO2 readings as well as interruptions which result in no reading at all.  If you believe you sleep on your arm, you could try putting the device on the other arm for the night.  If you are very concern about Sleep Apnea, you should check in with your healthcare provider as this device does not have the technology to make that determination.
