Golf Activity not showing up

I played one round of golf with my Vivoactive 4 and it recorded the round as an "Activity" and showed a map that showed the entire course and tracked me via GPS The scorecard has uploaded to Garmin Connect, as has my steps etc. My second round it recorded my score hole by hole but It does not show in "Activities" so I don't get a trace of my round on a map showing the route I walked. How can I get this to register my round as an activity each time i play?

Same thing happening with me? It used to pick up as an activity but for the past 3 weeks and lat 3 rounds of golf nothing? Did you find a solution? I have re booted, uninstalled the app, watch has the latest software and still not showing? My husband has the same watch and shows for him

no i have not found a solution, i chatted with tech support and they want me to do a complete factory reset and then delete some files. i have not had time to complete the reset and delete, but this is what they want me to do after i do the factory reset : ( i use a MAC computer)

Mac:

Navigate to Desktop
Double-click Garmin device drive
Click Garmin folder
Drag the Folders listed below to trash
Click on Trash
Click Finder
Click Empty Trash
Confirm you wish to permanently delete these items
Drag Garmin device drive to Trash
Unplug device from computer

Then you will need to delete the folders listed below: (Please note that this will get rid of all saved activities currently on the device.)

Activity
Settings
Monitor
NewFiles

Remote SW

if you get a chance to try this, please let me know if it works. i am playing golf this afternoon and am not counting on it working so if it doesnt i will try the reset and delete over the Christmas break.

Well I played this morning and randomly it showed an activity and worked again! So weird and bizarre as for the past 4 rounds it hasnt and out the blue today it worked! I am playing again Thursday so will see if it works again or not otherwise will do a factory reset which I was going to anyways last night but decided to give it one more go today and it worked - go figure!

LOL, that seems to be similar to my experience, sometimes it records the round as an activity and sometimes it doesn't, it doesn't make sense, but its been a weird year and not much of anything has made sense. i'll let you know if my round records today.

as you said, go figure, my round from yesterday recorded as an activity without resetting or making any changes, am going to play again today. hopefully it works again, but honestly it just seems hit or miss(kind of like my golf game)

HAHA.. too funny.., Yeah it really is so strange!! I am playing again tomorrow so will let you know if it works for a second time in 3 days....

Only thing I got back from Garmin support was to try log out of Garmin Connect and re log in

Well you some believe it my watch has randomly stopped showing activity again out the blue.. So odd!

I just got my Vivoactive 4 and have played two 9s and an 18. I used the watch to score all my games in the same way but only the 18 shows up as an activity. Has anyone else noticed this as a trend or is it just dumb luck it worked that way for me? Did anyone try the complete wipe solution in papaknox post? I'm nervous to do it if there's no good results. Otherwise love this watch but the golf/activity issue sucks! I used to use an Approach X40 and it was non problem tracking both.
