Vibration not working on new 4s

Hi,

I recently purchased a vivoactive 4s and have not been able to get the vibration working on it. I’ve tried solutions posted here (make sure do not disturb is on and phone is connected). 

it hasn’t vibrated at all since I got it. I’ve tried it on runs and tried setting alarms to see if it would work on any of them. But unfortunately it hasn’t. 

Are there any other suggestions before I return the watch to Garmin? 

  • Firstly, do not disturb should be off. When it's enabled it will not vibrate. 

    To test if vibration works or not, irrelevant of DND setting, head to Settings/System/Vibration. When selecting low medium or high, it will vibrate when making that selection....unless of course your vibration is broken. 

    Have you tried a factory reset? If a factory reset does not work, then it's faulty and you'll need to return it.

    Thanks Martin, yes I’ve tried a reset. When I select different levels of vibration in settings it does not vibrate either. So there is obviously an issue and needs to be returned.
