Huge floors climbed spike.

Last Friday I had a huge spike in floors climbed on my Vivoactive 4, 2561 floors climbed, where a number of 10-20 floors climbed would be more accurate for that particular day.
Device: Vivoactive 4
Software version: 5.10

Is this a known issue and does anyone know what could cause this? I couldn't find any info using the search.
Also does Garmin Connect let me manually edit this number cause now it messes up my statistics even though I know the floors climbed isn't that accurate on the device.
If I can't edit this number could someone from Garmin edit this number for me on my account to a more respectable 10-20 floors climbed?

I had similar issues a few months ago. At one point, my watch counted 2 floors for every step I took. It got so bad that I turned off alerts that I had achieved my goals as it was constantly buzzing that I had achieved multiples of my floors climbed goal. It took 3 cleanings of the port hole to get a semblance of normal floor climbing. Wind also plays a major role in the sensor's accuracy.

It seems to work pretty well now.

Yes, the VA4(S) is surprisingly accurate when it comes to counting floors. I used to have a Fitbit that was counting lots of floors every time it was windy.
