Problem with Vivoactive 4s

Hi, just bought a brand new Vivoactive 4s for my wife and after she tried that on an open sea swim the watch came out dead. Tried to connect to the power charge and tried a restart but nothing. Any ideas?

The vivoactive 4s should survive a salt water swim, given that no buttons are pressed when the watch is submerged. Also things like crashing into a big wave or high speed water sports could damage the…

The vivoactive is not rated for open sea swimming ... only pool swimming.

Hi, no not yet, sent to the repair center in Greece and they need to ship it to the UK so still waiting :-/

I took mine on the pool.for first time today and it's now dead too.
