Can you get the vivoactive 4 "Data Screen" not switch to "Rest" automatically after each set in a pool swim?

I have a vivoactive 4. I am looking for a way to have the swim "Data Screen" readout stay on rather than switch to REST after a couple of seconds when each swim set is finished. I understand how it is helpful to look at the "Data Screen" while running or cycling, but in swimming, you do not look at your the "Data Screen" while you are in the midst of the swim.  You look at it when that set is finished.  I would find it useful for an option to keep the "Data Screen" visible during the entire rest.

    Yes I find it so frustrating that I can't seem to scroll any of my stats during a rest interval. Mainly I want to see total distance. It's impossible to swim and look at your watch so I am not able to know my distance until I finish. It's so annoying, come on Garmin this is basic stuff.

    You can edit the "Rest" data screen to include more or different data fields.

    That sounds good but how? When I go to Settings from the Pool Swim then Data Fields I'm only offered one option which is Screen 1.

    I also can't find the rest data fields. But I have a setting for "auto rest" that can be switched off.

    Yes but I still get the rest screen when I click lap at the end of length as it knows I'm resting (which is good but I wish I could scroll through total distance etc as I am)

    Hey everyone!  After looking into this further I was also unable to edit the rest data screen.  This is a feature available on our Forerunner series, but cannot be edited on the VA4.  I will be submitting a feature request for this to become available on this watch.  

    I can not guarantee any changes will be implemented, however, we do hear you and care very much about your feedback so I am creating a feature request.

    Hello,

    Is there any progress on this feature request? I also find it very frustrating to not being able to either switch screen during rest, or to be able to edit data fields on the rest screen.

    I do not see any movement on it yet.  Would you like me to add you to the feature request, so that if there is ever any implementation in the future, you'll be notified?  If so, please reply with the following:

    1. May we, if necessary, have permission to email you?
