Connect IQ warning notification

My gf's VA4S is frequently showing a full screen 'CIQ!' screen on her watch.  She doesn't get notifications when this happens.  She can clear it by holding down the bottom button on the watch, and things then work fine for awhile.  She's got a tennis app (which I also use on my VA4) and a single watch face and thats it, so I'm not sure why the Connect IQ notice comes in.  I did a full reset of her watch and re-paired it and the same behavior is happening.
