Share workout

Hello,

I am looking for a way to share custom. workouts by mail or message on a phone.

When I have made a custom workout I want to share it whit my friends for example. Now they have to make the workout by themselves.

It is only possible when the watch is connected to garmin connect. But I cannot find a "share-button" or a way to download the workout in a certain file extension.

Can you please advise/help.

You can share Garmin workouts using this Chrome extension (PC or Mac):

The ability to share workouts would bring so much to our Garmin experience! I belong to a running group that does regular workouts. It would be so much easier if the workout of the day could be shared with our group members, rather than each of them manually entering it.

Yep - Garmin would potentially increase sales actually as my club members would love it if I could just share the weekly sessions direct to their watches.

Even more so during lockdown to do the sessions on their own.

Garmin-Brooks would you happen to know if this is anywhere in sight? As already stated, the ability to share created workouts to other garmin users would be a massive plus and would actually attract people to garmin. I have a running club and every week im doing screenshots of the workout session for that week - then all the members are having to manually create it themselves for the session (these are running interval sessions), and as you can imagine sometimes someone does it wrong and messes up their session. I also have the club as a group on garmin. When I load garmin connect I can go to my calendar and add a workout to it - however, if i click in the drop down and change the calendar to the group calendar I can't add a workout - how logical it would be if it could be added to the group calendar here just like I add it to my own. It really is a glaring omission - I am not a developer but I can't imagine it would be THAT complicated to do?

There is a newer Chrome extension that works (as of today anyway, I just tested it), it's called "Share your Garmin Connect workout".
