Apparently tech support does not read Forums

I complained about the persistent Bluetooth disconnect/reconnect cycling. No one in Tech support said, yeah we know about this position. Instead they sent me on a wild goose chase to try to debug it myself. I'll keep this watch a bit longer. Then return or retire.

  • It's pretty frustrating. I'm not a serious athlete but I enjoy garmin products - when they work. I think this va4 is my last watch with garmin. Every "update" seems to be plagued with bugs. This 5.10 update had been out over 1 month with no acknowledgment from garmin about the issues. I don't have the link handy, but ~1 year ago dcrainmaker posted an editorial on how he believes the only thing holding garmin back is itself. I tend to agree. It's a never-ending cycle of great hardware being ruined by bad software.

  • But I think most watches work just fine. It is just a few owners in here having issues. Maybe not a bug in the update itself, but the update process that seems to sometimes go wrong.

  • The same happened to me, this is so frustrating.

    I really conceder this is my last Garmin device, this time was the worst.
