Sometimes the watch settings and the Garmin Connect settings don't mirror each other properly.
Try visiting Garmin connect via your computers web browser. The at the top right, select Devices, and for the VA4 click Device Settings.
Select the Sounds and Alert tab, and check your alarm there. Try delete the alarm there if it's there. If not, create an alarm for 7am. Sync your watch, then go back and delete the alarm, and sync again.
