My VA4S-watch has no issues with GPS fix times after upgrading to 4.60.
This version of GPS software completely destroy time to get a gps lock, but most importantly destroy GPS and GPS+GLONASS accuracy.
another great drop by garmin (/s). Prior to this I could get a GPS lock in a few seconds. Now it takes 5+ minutes each time. I tried a GPS soak where you let it sit idle for 20 minutes after acquiring a lock, but it doesn't make a difference. These buggy software/firmware drops are getting old...

My altimeter may say 5m, then I select a walking activity, and on GPS signal acquired I press start... altitude still 5m (which is about correct) but then I take a few steps and the altimeter read -19m... And that's unfortunate, because IF it works properly I'm very satisfied with my VA4...
