Running with GPS and Music seems unstable

Hello,

I'm getting a bit frustrated with my Vivoactive 4. When I'm out running and using both GPS and Music with bluetooth earplugs, the bluetooth connection gets unstable and I'm getting small music fallouts. Its usually worst the first 3-7 minutes of the run, but every couple of minutes the sound drops out.

Anyone experiencing this? Is it a problem with the watch or maybe the the bluetooth earplugs? (They work perfect when connected to my phone)

Try with the watch on the other wrist. One side of the headphones could be what actually connects to the watch, and the other side uses that connection. I have some earbuds where if I had the watch on…

Which Bluetooth earbuds do you have?

I'm using Urbanista Stackholm (https://www.urbanista.com/uk/stockholm-plus). Its probably low-end quality, but I'm suspecting the watch to be the issue, so I'm a bit reluctant to just buy new earbuds.

Try with the watch on the other wrist. One side of the headphones could be what actually connects to the watch, and the other side uses that connection. I have some earbuds where if I had the watch on my left wrist, I would get drop outs, right wrist, no problem. With those, I could set which earbud connected to the BT source, and when I set that to the left side, no problem with the watch on the left wrist.

I tried switching the watch to my right wrist and it actually seemed to do the trick! I'm gonna be doing some more testing, but I'm quite positive about it - thanks for the suggestion :-)
