Not updating

My Vivosmart4 is not updating activity.  Just did a 7 mile hike up a mountain.  Everything else is current, but V02 hasn't updated since July.  How do I get it to update?

  • Try to use a "Run"-activity. That works for me to update the VO2max, even if I partly walk.

Might be some trouble with the server, these "cheap" watches doesnt get the superior FirstBeat features, so everything depends on garmins crap servers.... Basically all your information from your watch resides on a remote server, being analyzed by inferior tech from garmin... And then pushed to your phone, with a modicum of accuracy.... Wellcome to owning (or selling) a smartwatch in 2020....

  • Are you sure of that? I think I have seen new VO2max figures on the activity summary screen before I sync the watch to the Garmin cloud.

Sorry, Yes thats true, the v02 max does compute on the watch itself. Only sleep metrics goes on server side..
