Help. My device just dropped my steps done from 5,000 to 1,500

It sounds like your watch crashed and reset itself. If so, those steps should be lost.

Thanks. They were definitely lost steps. I will be keeping my eye on the watch.

If it crashes, it should vibrate and you should see the Garmin triangle on the display.

FYI, that only happened to me 1 time about 2 years ago. I was just finishing an activity and was about to meet my steps goal for the day when it happened.
