My VA4S asked me how far I had run after a treadmill session to calibrate the stride length. It will not be able to get the distance right if you change the running speed. The faster you run, the longer your stride will be. I suggest calibrating it at medium running speed. Then the watch will show a bit too long distance when you jog slowly, and a bit too short if you sprint intervals.
