How do i search the Connect IQ store for ALL apps of ONE type?

I had opened the Connect IQ store in the Edge browser last night, and there was a way to simply browse through ALL widgets, ALL apps, ALL watch faces, etc. separately. Today when i reopened the browser for some reason it was not there, the page would just default to home. I tried in other browsers and it was the same old store front, sections of "Fun Watch Faces", "Power Tools", etc... i don't want to know what the app thinks are "Power Tools" and "Fun" Watch Faces, i simply want to be able to browse all the applications offered in the store, according to their type. But apparently this is too much to ask of Garmin. Any way i can do that?

  • Garmin is pretty poor at the user interface with the IQ store.

imho it's a pretty stupid and unintuitive interface.

For a web browser: visit your connect account, and at the top right select the device icon and then click Connect IQ store that is specific to the device you want to search stuff for.

Then you are sent off to the IQ Store with specific compatibility for your device. On the left towards the top, just under the device name, click on App Type, and from here a drop down should come up with what you are looking for

On the Phone: Open the IQ app on the phone, select search and then the tabs for apps, widgets, data fields, etc will be below the search window.

  • Right yes, that's the interface. Thanks a lot. I didn't figure out it would be through the Connect page. Honestly i wouldn't have thought it for a long time. Don't know, maybe it is just a different kind of thinking, it is not unreasonable, but it would maybe take years for me to figure it out on my own!
