Altimeter incorrect elevation reading anyone have similar issue

Elevation is always not correct 100 feet higher 150 feet higher Correct elevation supposed to be 205 feet on maximum I add pictures with the correct example from Fenix 5 and two incorrect example from Vivoactive 4 anyone else have this same issue ? is any solution for that to make the readings more correct

Have you tried calibrating the VA4 Altimeter using the GPS?

Altimeters can drift with weather changes and temperature changes such as weather, device or body temp influences. If I go for a run or a walk, my altitude at home is different when I get back by a few meters, but it'll settle again shortly after. But I also live in a town that has enough pressure changes due to weather for me to necessitate calibration on a daily basis.

Your elevation change is fairly consistent, so it's probably down to just needing a calibration so that the starting elevation is in the ballpark

I use a GPS activity every day on the watch so it calibrates itself effectively every day

Ok, so you've then tried waiting longer than 30sec after signal is acquired...

One last thing I could ad to possibly help...

My watch kept defaulting to -490m after a GPS activity started. And calibration wouldn't work properly.

I reset my watch to default settings and it fixed it.

If you want to try this, you can backup some basic watch settings like seen in the THIS Garmin support link. Note the restore instructions are at the base of the page.
