For what watch are you talking about since the current firmware for the VA4 is V4.9.
For GPS its V4.5.
For ANT/BT/BLE its 5.04
WIFI 2.0
Sensor version is 7.0
WHR Version its 0.09.01
When you say hard reset, does that mean system reset to factory? or is that only a 15sec+ press of the top button?
hello,
the garmin make himself the firmware update to 5.30 and since this upgrade the hr sensor doesn,t work and battery die fast.
i make both reset: 15 sec. first and after resect to factory.
i also use software give Garmin Webupdater me from garmin assistance but nothing has changed
There is no V5.3 for the Vivoactive 4
try update to the new 5.0 that was released a few hours ago. Otherwise contact support.
Hi. I don't know. This is the wrong forum.
Try using the Garmin Web Updater app to reinstall the current software or contact Garmin support.
I also don't known where Garmin has the Vivoactive HR forum. If web updater doesn't work, try finding a beta and installing the included "stable" version in the zip file. This is done at own risk though. I don't know if there happens to have been a beta release. I'll have to look a bit later if you don't come right.
hello Martin. I only found the beta SW is 4.32 and 4.30 https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=12595
And i am doing fllow the guide
Have you tried Garmin Web Updater first?
The above mentioned beta folder has two GCD files. One for the beta and the other for the previous "Stable" version.
Copy the GUPDATE_430.GCD file into your devices Garmin folder, then rename it to GUPDATE.GCD
Unplug your device and let it boot. This will reset your watch settings
