Its now possible to deactivate the light by incomminc messages or touch the display?

Hi,

tts now possible to deactivate the light by incomminc messages or touch the display? I had this problem when i sleep and touch the watch by accident or get a message. The light will be activated and its daylight in the sleeping room :D

There was also the problem when the watch was locked and i touched the display the light woudl be activated anyway. its still so?

    hi, yes its still the same.

    I don't understand it, it would be so easy just to add option to light the display up only when pressing some button or for example double tap on screen. Especially turning the backlight on just by touching it when screen is locked is really annoying

    To clarify - you have DND on at night, right? So vibrations are suspended but to your point touching the screen still lights up the room. I actually have not had much of an issue with this. or maybe it's just that it does not wake me. Regardless, I agree that it should be a button push. Does anyone know how to request features / chages?

    I have the exact same problem! Also I have the Flashlight shortcut when swiping to the right and I often wake up because I have accidentally started the flashlight. Draining the battery also... I also want the simple function to only turn on backlight when pressing one of the buttons.
