heart rate strap

Can the garmin vivo active serial number 3PW301989 measure heart rate if you get a heart rate strap ? If so which heart rate strap would be compatible with the watch

You didn't state which vivoactive you have, but based on the compatibility list, any of these should work with the HRM-Dual

The watch was given to me by a friend, it’s the vivo active before they started producing the vivo active which can measure your heart rate from your wrist
