Pulse oximeter is totally broken with 4.70 on Vivoactive 4. Medical pulse oximeter shows me 96-100, Garmin 85-88, sometimes below 80. I am confused and angry. Measurement was correct on earlier version of firmware.

Mine is giving readings in the 90's about the same as before 4.7
Me too - alternative medical SPO2 has me at between 5-10% higher most of the time - one of the main reasons for choosing VA4 so I hope this can be fixed. Be aware def big difference if wear as advised firstly above the wrist. Only just bought the watch so never tried the 4.6
Exactly the same for me. I'm using firmware 4.80. Pulse Ox is always showing low levels but a finger tip meter shows 99-100%. Vivosmart 4 is always at least 5% less. Seems like the Pulse Ox facility is of no use.
I confirm the problem. I have my va4 for 8 days and I'm always around 89/90%. in fact my doctor check has always returned me 96/98%. Despite this problem, Garmin elevate technology is excellent when monitoring heart rate in training.
Coming from the Fitbit heart rate monitor, the Garmin elevate is on another planet!
