Stress number on watch face just doesn't (update:)

It seems stuck on old numbers, when I look it shows a different number from the actual widget every time...

It would be useful If I could just glance at my watch and see my levels. But I still need to scroll to the stress widget to update the watch face...

.

.

Update:  This is me sitting in my couch watching tv...

.

.

And here is the widget....

Now this is just obviously wrong...

.

.

But first of all, can you have a 75(!) in stress score while chilling in your couch? I aint stressed or anxious, im kinda happy and content atm. and its been behaving like this way for weeks..

.

Question: Does it measure stress at all in its current state?

.

Option A: My HRV is so bad Im seriously dying on my couch....

. Or

Option B: The watch software is faulty.

.

Answer:

It was actually working for a brief moment, about a few days, in an update for improved first beat metrics. But it stopped working again after the subsequent offical software update got installed on the next sync.

For some reason it seems to be working again this morning Slight smile sitting in my couch and it correctly relates my numbers in the 5-20 range depending on my activity level (!)

    .

Hope it stays this way, I'm concerned about syncing...

Back home after a quick walk to the super market, I logged my walk with gps +. when I got home I got "check watch fit" for stress readings, I restarted, (didnt work) took of the watch and placed it back on again. Now it (doesnt) work again. Giving me a 75 in stress score while watching tv...

Is it only me, or are other people having a similar experience?

are other people having the same experience?

  • I do frequently get "check watch fit". But for the most part this seems to be updating correctly.

Turns out there is a one or two minute lag between updates to the watch face... So not very accurate.... Should be the same as Heartbeat metrics showing on the watch face, dynamic...

Does anybody else get these amount of stress metrics during a day at home watching tv? Neither stressed or exited just chilling watching movies?

Seems very steep to me, I got no heart troubles or anxiety...

The funny thing is; metrics worked for me for a few weeks after a firstbeat update to the stress metrics on the device, but subsequent updates brought back these readings....

Edit: I should add that galaxy active 2 (which I use as a comparison) does not report these huge levels of stress during lazy days in front of the tv (a device which also uses hrv stats for stress measurement)

    SOLUTION: Stop drinking coffee...

One day without 4 cups of Joe and my stress levels are in the 15-20's again, all day...
