Is there not a watch face that shows if you have a message on your phone? My old Samsung Gear S2 had an indicator; you could glance at your watch and see a dot that meant you had a message on your phone. Then, of course, you could read it on the watch.

Wrong forum if you have a Venu SQ. The fonts are larger on the va4.
