Body battery and sleep stages, see below... Does anybody else experience this?

I had 8+ hours of sleep recorded yesterday, during the night my stresslevels showed in excess of 25 during the initial deep and light stages for almost 2 hours... I thought deep sleep was recorded when the body is at a physical and mental calm?

Looks like we'll have to wait for FirstBeat to supply us with viable sleep data....  shame on a 300€ watch intended for general fitness not to include any semblence of quality sleep tracking.

Other devices does it for half the price... And they track naps as well!

Maybe Garmin should make som sort of announcement...

  • I have the same question for Garmin. How is it that my "body battery" is not charging (or often discharging) at the same time my sleep data says I'm in "deep sleep"? Example: Last night I had over THREE HOURS of "deep sleep" in the first half of the night, and during that entire period my body battery was discharging. Only when I go into light or REM sleep in the morning hours does the body battery charge. I woke up at 5:30 with a body battery charge of TEN. Dozed lightly for another our and it doubled what I got for the previous 8 hrs. The deep sleep/body battery inverse correlation is consistent every night. If I lay on the couch and watch TV, my body battery recharges. But it discharges whenever I go into deep sleep??
