Golf - false positives

I have recently moved from an Approach S40 watch with CT-10 to a vivoactive 4.

i have noticed that almost every hole records a false positive. Most of the time these are at exactly the same spot as my shot. (I don’t take a practise swing - these shouldn’t record anyway - they didn’t on the approach) and sometimes the 1st shot is a false positive on the location of the 2nd. So shot 1 is on the fairway, shot 2 is the tee shot and shot 3 is the same location as shot 1.

I have to edit almost every hole and remove the shots after a round.

The false positives do not have a club assigned to them.

This issue wasn’t present on the Approach S40 and nothing has changed in the time I changed device.

Contact garmin directly, there is nothing on these boards except complaints and rudimentary advice, like  "restart your device"  Garmin usually just send you a new device and hopes it works... Im at my second one, after hr led stopped working.

    Peace
