Barometer/Altimeter calibration not in the menu?

Hey guys,

I just switched from the Fenix 5 to the Vivoactive 4 and the shown altitude is really inaccurate...

In the Fenix series, it's easily possible to manually calibrate the barometer (settings>sensors>barometer),

but I cannot find it in the settings of the Vivoactive 4?

Ist it possible to manually calibrate it or not? I couldn`t find a clear answer here in the forum yet...

Start GPS activ. 5-10sec and cancel.

There is only auto calibration:

1. Select a outdoor activity.

2. Wait until the gps signal was acquired (green).

3. Wait at least 30 sec.

u do it 3 times and u get 3 times different altimeter reading

But auto calibration does not work

Beacuse this only refresh your location then get atmosphere data. If the atmosphere data is wrong then you get wrong altitude.

Maybe we don't pay enough to have manually calibrate. Maybe vivoactive series is not a outdoor series...

Instinct series have "Power Save Mode" and vivoactive series doesn't. Yes, that the way Garmin create different series.

And YES, Instinct series can manually calibrate!
