since a lot of people complaining about battery drain after update to 4.6, I would like to stick with 4.5 for some time...

  • Maybe you just get faulty device. I would contact Garmin, claim warranty, ask for replacement...

I use the hydration and my battery widgets. For data fields, i use the "single run field" only during workouts. For apps, its just the default workout apps and nothing else. I don't even use music

    I might just have to.

Woke up to see that body battery is back to 5 even after a 7hr plus sleep. Logged a 6km run and there's no body battery drain. I fixed this last time by factory resetting the watch. I'm definitely not doing that again

  • honestly, it is exactly what I would recommend you.

me personally, I was almost sure that I have faulty watch / battery, I had battery life two days at maximum. I decided to give it one last chance, did factory reset, did just basic connection setup, not installed anything, just tried to use the watch at stock state for some time. Since that I have battery life between 7 and 9 days. I slowly installed some third party apps one by one and was carefull about how every app affects battery life.

At the end I have application set which I am satisfied with and battery life over six days even while recording couple of activities during the cycle.

Hydratation widget and any of battery widget is not a part of my applications set...
