HRM - Run with V4s

I bought HRM Run for getting accurate info on heart rate, but can not get this data to Garmin Connect app without a watch.

I originally thought to get V4s but it is not supporting HRM Run..

Can I get any data from HRM to this watch while I'm doing activity and what data I can see in Connect App?

The HRM-Run will connect to the VA4 and will provide heart rate data, but not the running dynamics, as these are not supported on the VA4. Instead of the expensive HRM-Run you might consider a cheaper HR strap.

The HRM-Run connects to the va4 when you are doing an activity. When the activity is uploaded to Garmin Connect, your HR data is shown in that activity. So you need a watch to get/see the data from the HRM-RUN.

Quick question - when using external HRM should watch hr be on? It's confusing, because even if ext HRM connected during activity watch hr diodes are still blinking...
