How do a downgrade my vivactive 4?

Latest update made my new 300€ clock useless.
It was working great, and then i updated it and now its having trouble connecting to my iphone and battery doesnt even last a day with normal use (no training at all).
Before last update i could have it on for days without recharging.

Please help me get back to last version that worked great.

Try resetting/rebooting your watch. Press the upper right button for 15-20 seconds and the watch will turn itself off, and then back on.

There's no easy way to move back to older firmware.

So ill have to reset my watch everytime it updates itself?!

I did the reset byt the way and i go through the setup in the up... when i come to the "Syncronize unit" it jut says no bluetooth connection"

I push the bt-phone-icon a few times and then it FINALLY connects, but then i get a server error?!
I have to skip the syncronization go be able to move on...

Holding the button for 15-20 seconds doesn't reset everything - restart would be a better term, but Garmin calls it a reset - like it will stay paired to the phone, you won't lose data, etc. It's different than a "reset to factory settings in the menus.

Hello, I have right now exactly the same issues. The battery is draining within a day and the paring is not possible. Did you found a solution in the meantime?

First off, what SW? 5.10? The 5.21 beta? 5.30(Somehow)? Custom watch face or stock?

I Would first restart the device, then if it still acts up restart. Its possible the firmware got applied incorrectly.

I have 5.21 beta and a stock watch face. I tried to restart and reset the device but no chages

Try rolling back to 5.10?

I tried, but after adding the file in the /Garmin folder and disconnecting the device, nothing happens. I followed these instructions: https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=15301

Also, on 5.10 I had the same issues and I was wondering if an older version would help but I couldn't find any other older version.

Did you rename UPDATE_510.GCD to GUPDATE.GCD before disconnecting your device?

I did, yes. I asked for service help because I really tried all the options. Many thanks for your suggestions
